Worst Manager and Receptionist

Rude Manager and Receptionist. They don't abide by what they commit. At the time of booking Over the call, I have metioned that I would arrive early by 2-3 hours and I have 10 month old baby with me and the person confirmed that if room is available then it would be provided without any extra charges. But when we arrived they demanded extra money for early checkin. When I argued They asked me ti provide recording of the call. They don't even listen to customer or understand their concerns My suggestion to all is first do not choose this hotel if you have other option, even if you choose better record the calls whenever you speak to hotel staff..Stay in this place only if you want to spoil your trip.

I had found this hotel which was budget friendly and had decent ratings. Hence we went ahead and booked. It was ok for the budget and it's close to quite a lot of tourist attractions, so that helped. Breakfast at the hotel was average and our bread loving friends were in a greater disappointment when they heard there was no butter served. They had only jam. This was a surprise for all of us. Staffs were very friendly and helpful so I have to give extra credit for that. For budget travelers, this would be one of the best options

We took a cottage in this hotel - this is almost like a house with 6 rooms (and attached bathrooms). We were 11 in our group and really liked the stay in this house. All the rooms (and more importantly the bath rooms) were well maintained. The attached restaurant was also good. The service was excellent. There are other resorts which are twice as expensive, but this one serves the purpose well. There is a place called "Cauvery Peak" that sells filter coffee and it is worth tasting. If you like Instant coffee also which is sold everywhere, then ignore this.

Pros: Courteous Staff and ready to help. We ordered ginger tea and they provided it. Very clean rooms and well maintained property. Recreation room with table tennis, carom board, chess and archery. My kid enjoyed it a lot. Free Wifi Cons: No lift. Limited food items in restaurant. Limited parking space but didn’t face any issues due to that. Room size was slightly small.

A very nice and clean hotel situated near the town and next to small lake . I booked the premier room for one night and was very delighted with the room type in such pricing . The room has a small balcony with the lake view . The room had amenities like electric kettle with tea and coffee sachets , basic toiletries and a complimentary water bottle . The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. There was no fridge in the room so I asked the hotel staff to keep the drinks in the hotel fridge . They helped me with the same and also helped with ice cubes when required . Just let them know in advance so that they can prepare the ice cubes . The breakfast is buffet type with mostly South Indian options but everything was tasty and the buffet restaurant is clean . You can order food or have it at the restaurant as well . I didn’t try that . There is parking in the basement of the hotel . There was problem with the wifi connection and in the hotel you will not get 3g connection for Vodafone and Airtel. I stayed in Hotel Premier Inn for other night but GVS residency is far better . Cleaniness - 4/5 Food - 3.5/5 Location - 4/5 Service -4/5 Sorry for not providing with much photos !!
